Priorities Themes for Swiss Sustainability Research


SRI White paper out now!

How does an economy committed to sustainable development work? How can our society move rapidly towards climate-neutrality? And how must social values and visions evolve to enable transformation towards sustainability? These questions are part of Switzerland's most urgent research needs with a view to meeting the UN SDGs. Under the leadership of the SRI Steering Committee and based on consultations with over 100 stakeholders, 30 experts from a broad range of fields have developed six priority themes for Swiss sustainability research. More

German strategy for research for sustainable development published


Four billion euros for sustainability research

With the FONA strategy, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research will double research funding for climate protection and more sustainability to four billion euros over the next five years. The strategy formulates three strategic goals to which research can make a decisive contribution for a sustainable future. More
