250 Elephants relocated in Malawi

 
   
 

African Parks, a non-profit organisation that is responsible for the returning Malawi’s top national parks and wildlife reserves to their former glory, succeeded with a historical relocation of 250 elephants in Malawi back in July 2022.

More animals introduced to Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve

 
   
 

A few months ago, the Tongole Wilderness Retreat team were delighted to share the news that more wildlife was being translocated to Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve. A total of 800 animals were being reintroduced into the reserve, which comprise; Buffaloes, Sable antelope, Impala and Hippo from Liwonde National Park in the southern part of the country.
