Monitors are needed. It is the responsibility of every MacsWest Club Member to volunteer in Computers West Room A at Palm Ridge Rec Center for four hours per year.
What is required of monitors?
When a new member joins the Club, Membership Envelopes MUST have all the information completed or the new membership will be delayed! Legibility is a huge necessity here.
As always, remember to bring something to do. It’s a great time to do catch up on your reading. Got a laptop or tablet? Bring it!
Easiest way to sign up to Monitor is to click

Monitor coordinator Norm says, “Please do not hesitate to email me (

Thanks to all those that stepped up to help!

Sharing and Learning Interesting and Utilitarian iPhone Applications
January 12, 2023 at 2PM in Room D
Most of us use our iPhones for many purposes including finding lowest price gasoline, reviewing bank transactions, identifying celestial bodies, hailing a taxi, viewing our security cameras and many, many more. This ‘class’ is for the purpose of sharing participants’ most useful ‘apps’. Each attendee is expected to share their favorite and most useful apps aside from the standard telephone, messaging and search apps.
The class will be held January 12, 2023 at 2PM in Room D. The signup sheet will be available at the Computer Club starting Monday, November 28, 2022. Be sure to bring the names of up to four apps you wish to share.* Sign- up for the class will close December 21st, or when 20 participants have signed up. This first class will be limited to 20 participants; additional classes may be held in the future as needed.
Sign up now! Don’t be left out!
*To avoid duplication, you may be asked to change the apps you propose to share.
To my neighbors, I don't mean to be a Grinch,
however.... to those of you who are placing Christmas
lights/decorations in your yards, please avoid using
anything with Red or Blue flashing lights all together!!
Every time I come around the corner, I think it's the
police. I have to brake hard, toss my whiskey & coke
out the window, fasten my seat belt, throw my phone on
the floor, turn my radio down & push the gun under the
seat, all while trying to drive. It's just too much drama,
even for Christmas. Thank you for your cooperation
and understanding.
