During the lock-down gardens have provided a welcome diversion for many people and there has been a surge of interest in gardens of all types. On 21st June 2016 the Iran Heritage Foundation organised at Hutton’s Farm Hambleden a seminar on Persian Gardens at Hutton’s Farm in Hambleden, followed by a tour of the Sarikhani Collection. The seminar was introduced by Dr John Curtis with a presentation on Gardens in Ancient Iran, and the opportunity has now been taken to make a new recording of this talk and to release it online here.
Those interested in Persian gardens may like to be reminded that the lecture given by Professor Mohammad Gharipour on Gardens of Medieval Persia is available on IHF’s channel here. |
