Peru 2023 

Hi . I hope this has been an amazing year for you already. I’d like to offer you the opportunity to increase that and make it even more amazing.

This coming December we return to the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Peru for 2 weeks with our Qero, Andean Shamans.

Our journey begins in Cusco, the ancient centre of the Inca empire and world. Cusco is literally the belly, the naval of the Inca world. Here we come together and travel as a group to the Illary Chaska Centre nestled in the valley, close to the Urubamba river. Each day we will travel to different Inca sites of ceremony in the beautiful landscape, and each night we will sleep beneath the stars. And we will receive the “Carpi” ancient rites, energetic empowerments of the Incas from our Shaman. 

Here in the sacred valley we will be at about 2800 metres above sea level. The air is clear, and so are the skies. If you have never visited mountains like these you will be in for a treat. There are so many more stars than I have ever seen with my naked eyes, other than when I trekked in the Himalayas. 

Our two week journey takes us on an inner and outer journey of discovery. As well as our base at the Illary Chaska centre we will visit Cusco, the ancient city of the Incas, and spend 3 days at Mt. Apu Ausangate. Many of our ceremonies will connect us with the energy and spirits of the mountains, and also with the Nusta spirits and energies, in the traditional ways that the mountain people here have been supported to do so by their shamans for hundreds and hundreds of years.

There will be opportunities to visit and explore local markets and shopping bazaars  as well as the “Shaman’s market” in Cusco. And for those who wish to take part, as an extra activity, there will be the option to participate in traditional Plant Spirit Medicine ceremonies with a Shipibo Shaman while we stay at Illary Chaska centre. This will appeal to some, but possibly not all people in the group. But if you have been curious about the healing power of these experiences this will be a great opportunity to experience them.

We will of course be visiting Machu Pichu, the famous “Crystal City” of  Incas. And many more impressive and empowering ancient monuments and natural altars that will enhance and change your life forever.
