Innovation
Partnership Grants support the establishment of a cooperation between

House Middle East and North Africa: Call for Research Partnership Grants
This call
for projects aims at developing new joint project proposals or connecting
already existing and independently funded projects in Switzerland and in the
MENA partner countries into long-lasting cooperation. Submission deadline: 12 September 2022.

Leading House Latin America: Call for Consolidation
Grants The Consolidation
Grant promotes sustainable, longer-term research cooperation between Swiss
and Latin American scholars with the aim of producing accountable scientific
outcomes in domains that have been identified as priority by both Latin
American and Swiss institutions. Grants between 25’000-50’000 CHF will be
awarded. Submission deadline: 31 July 2022.

GRC: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Collaborative Funding Call
The
Global Research Council has launched a pilot call aiming to accelerate the
achievement of the SDGs, through the implementation of results from ongoing or
recently finalised research and innovation projects. Applicants must form
project consortia with eligible partner organizations from at least three
different countries. Deadline for the submission of concept notes: 5 August
2022.

Migration/Mobility in an Era of Rapid Global Change This call presents an opportunity to fund research focused on integrated
systems approaches to accurately characterise migration and mobility and its

Forum for International Agricultural Research (SFIAR) offers an annual Award for graduates and scientists of
a Swiss institution who work in agricultural research for development. The best PhD project wins 5’000 CHF and the best Master thesis project 1’000

culture of failure in North-South research partnerships
Brilliant
failure – at first this sounds more like a contradiction than a productive way
of dealing with difficulties. Yet, a synthesis project from the r4d programme
turned it into an innovative concept with regard to North-South research

Study Tour to Eco-Industrial Parks
The Global Eco Industrial Park Programme of the United
Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Swiss State
Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) is geared to scale up resource efficiency and cleaner production to the
level of Eco-Industrial Parks (EIPs). The University of Applied Sciences and
Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) hosted a study tour for participants from
Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Peru, South Africa and Vietnam to exemplify and
