After a very busy summer, with heatwave after heatwave, it seems a distant memory now as we're in the grip of a December cold snap. In this first issue we wanted to let you know that we have completed the first six months of trading since appointing our new kitchen team, led by head chef, Marcus Jeffrey, who brings together a team with a wealth of knowledge. The talented new team has given us a new direction with our menus, which now include a more extensive range of vegetarian and vegan dishes, which we've possibly lacked with our previous menus. Now the Peak District is somewhat quieter and, in our opinion, slightly more delightful without the crowds that summer months bring, we can offer you significant savings on our room rates — we’re currently offering £30 off per night per room on a late availability basis. We also still have a few tables available on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve — get in touch to book your table. On New Year’s Eve we will be joined by the very talented singer Emily Claire West and we'll be having our firework display at midnight, as usual.
