Friends of Monash CF News

I know I say this every year, but where did the year go? It has been an incredibly busy one on so many fronts.  I’m pleased to report that we end the year on a high achieving some significant projects and we look forward to quietly continuing to work on a few more in the New Year.

Please have a happy Christmas, restful holiday and we look forward, with you along for the journey, to continue our support of the Monash CF community in 2020

Best Wishes, Felicity Stretch - Founder/CEO

Macquarie Bank funded NIVs arrive

In late September representatives from Macquarie Bank attended at Monash Health to officially present the 4 funded (worth $18,000) Non-Invasive Ventilators to the Monash CF Unit. These 4 units will be used by children and adults with significant and worsening CF lung disease to enhance chest physiotherapy and assist with facilitating exercise while in hospital or at home.

And there’s even more HEPA Filters

In addition to the 12 HEPA filters already donated to the Monash CF Unit we have now donated an additional filter for use in the CF Massage Room.
