The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) would appreciate your station or network’s participation in airing its “Make Me A Firefighter” volunteer firefighter recruitment PSAs.
The PSAs are available on an EVERGREEN basis and seek to raise awareness of the need for volunteer firefighters in local communities nationwide. They feature a variety of volunteers describing their experience and sharing what volunteering means to them. The PSAs spread the positive message that any community member with the drive to serve can step up to help their community in this vital way.
With 87% of U.S. communities protected by volunteer firefighters, raising awareness of the need for volunteer fire service personnel is critical to ensuring public safety. The NVFC is asking for your support by airing these PSAs to help get the word out about this need.
