Dear hydrogen stakeholder.
We invite you to the first Hydrogen Workshop in Slovakia. We will be happy to see you in Košice on the 11. of March.
ABOUT
The Slovak Hydrogen Workshop is the first event of its kind focused on the production, distribution, storage and use of hydrogen in the economy. Hydrogen, as a universal carrier of energy, if it is produced from renewable or low-carbon sources of energy, is one of a few solutions when meeting the environmental and climatic goals of the EU, and Slovakia too. At the Hydrogen Workshop, you will get to know, what the EU policies are like in terms of launching the hydrogen technologies, which areas are and will be supported, and how the Slovak regions can join the hydrogen projects. The speakers will inform you about the preconditions of launching the hydrogen applications in power engineering, industry, or transport. You will find out more about both the implemented and ongoing projects in West Europe, what is their economic and ecologic benefit and how the new business opportunities are created. The respected professionals will indicate what projects would be appropriate for Slovakia. They will describe their potential and will warn about the correct manner of their launching to practice. In the last session of Workshop, you will get to know more about the plans of the Eastern Slovak region, about how to start the implementation of hydrogen in this region. | | |
| If you decide to participate, register please here for free. The number of seats is limited. | | |

TOPIC
Green and low-carbon hydrogen for the Slovak regions. Hydrogen applications improve air quality and reduce CO2 footprint in the industry, energy and transport sector.
GOALS
Identify the hydrogen potential in Slovakia. Explain the role of hydrogen to meet climate and air quality targets. Evaluate benefits for regions. A chance for cross-border cooperation. Ways how to finance the projects. How to join to the international projects? Sketch the hydrogen vision for Slovakia.
TARGET GROUP
Representatives
of cities and regions, business sector, scientists, decision makers, government, associations, students.
