Whether they're the result of winter getting underway or a
working environment that can't rely fully on daylight illumination, lower light
levels always present a challenge to the photographer. But having the
experience to carefully tailor and control a lighting set-up means I can offer different
solutions to even the murkiest of problems. Depending on the brief, I either use
artificial light openly to create visual emphasis, or do an 'invisible mend' on
the way a place looks by using a mixture of ambient and flash that mimics normal
lighting.
