Lessons from… Pfizer & FedEx 💊📦

The cross-industry transfer you see in the picture here above is the new Fedex delivery bot, which is based on technology for wheelchairs… a great example that I use in my keynotes. 

Recently I was in the US, together with a team from AT&T Business and The Atlantic Re:Think to document how these companies actively learn from other organisations. In our findings it’s clear: the key to innovation lies beyond company, silo, industry, and sector walls.

Using lookalike destinations to encourage domestic holidays! 🏖☂️

In an incredible smart campaign: ‘No need to fly’, German Rail (Deutsche Bahn) has used photos of picturesque German locations that mirror famous foreign tourist destinations to encourage Germans to take a holiday in their home country (by train).

The rail company generated a 24% revenue bump, while also making people aware of the difference in price and CO2 reduction! 

I love these kind of analogy cross-overs..! Absolutely one of the best ads I’ve seen in a while!

Don’t just think outside the box,

New keynotes! cross-silo collaboration & remix sustainability ♻️ 🎧 
The last months I’ve delivered multiple keynotes on cross-silo / team collaboration (burst out of the bubble) and on smarter approaches for sustainability, there is so much we can still learn from other organisations in totally different sectors, to come up with new beautiful combinations! I am amazed by all the new examples I come across!

By the way... the LEGO trees 🌲🌳 you see here above, are not made from plastic, yet these are made from sugar cane 🌱 and the bubble here below… that’s Amazon’s new ‘sphere’ office in Seattle! 😉
