GBC NEWS — Issue 2

Welcome

Hello and welcome to the second issue of our newsletter, GBC News.

GBC News continues to keep you up to date with our latest news, including new appointments and project completions, along with the latest industry trends and how we’re helping to drive forward the green agenda within the construction and development arena across the UK.

In this issue there is news of new projects, staff achievements, new equipment and an extensive training and development programme that will benefit every member of our team and will enhance the high levels of customer service we already provide to our clients.

Whilst the issue of Brexit is still affecting investment decisions within the construction arena, we continue to win new projects from both existing and new clients. As demand for our services increases we will be looking to recruit additional staff members in the near future, to ensure that we continue to deliver the high levels of customer service that our clients have come to expect.

We look forward to being of service.

PDR Construction has appointed GreenBuild Consult to provide BREEAM Assessments for the new Porsche Centre in Reading.

Under Pressure

As a result of purchasing new air pressure testing equipment the company can now test large commercial projects.

Commenting on the arrival of the new equipment GreenBuild Consult’s MD, Jonathan Ridd, said: “This is a progressive step for the company and we look forward to offering this service to our clients who are working on larger projects."

Air Pressure Testing is an important requirement to demonstrate compliance for Part L Building Regulations and the new equipment will help retain and attract new clients in the commercial development sector.
