Christmas is fast approaching and I am proud to have a second amazing Autumn under my belt at LynchPin Support

I had the privilege and pleasure of hosting a discussion at The Social Value Exchange last week drawing in an audience from around the UK as well as America, Puerto Rico and even Qatar. We had a healthy and very real discussion about the challenges of creating local appetite for discourse AND action around Social Value. I also managed to attend some other workshops, catch up with national colleagues in the network and be inspired by some great panel debates.

Back at home I’ve worked with clients ‘old’ and new in the last few months and continue to develop my experience with the corporate sector through my associate role at Gaiacene. It’s great to receive and give peer support through this kind of work and I am always challenged to grow and learn in my collaborations (which include the Brathay Research Team as well as MB Associates.) I am also challenged by the diverse nature of my clients - from Sellafield and its supply chain to social enterprises and charities from across the spectrum. I have been writing social impact strategies for business, conducting social impact evaluations, developing projects and partnerships across all sectors and writing the odd grant application along the way too.

I won’t list all my clients and colleagues here but I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you for your continued support.

I hope you all have a very lovely Christmas and a fabulous New Year.

Thanks Nicola

PS I’ll be signing off for my first ‘proper’ break in a while over Christmas and will be offline from about the 15th of December to the 5th of January. It's time to take a break and recharge mind & body so I don’t stray into writing rubbish...

We enjoy working with Nicola she really understands our organisation and our needs. She has helped us to make some great contacts and taught us a lot about using a more business focused language. We look forward to continuing our work together in 2018."

"LynchPin provided insightful consultancy support into the Social Impact Framework for one of the UK’s largest public-sector contracts (£1.5Bn, over 10 years). Nicola contributed to the development of a comprehensive evaluation framework that captured critical outcomes and enabled the robust evaluation of an extensive programme of concurrent and multi-stakeholder activities over a 5 year timescale. The Social Impact Framework operated within a complex and diverse stakeholder environment, to which, Nicola, was adapt at challenging, demonstrating, communicating and evidencing how evaluation contributes to successful programme implementation. This initially involved identifying and capturing stakeholder values and attributing appropriate and efficient evaluation methods. This revealed critical impact data and more importantly valuable learning outcomes to assist in partnership maturation and subsequent programme optimisation."
