Things are getting more and more excited as we draw closer to the IPBA-DBM Conference—only 4 months to go! Here are some useful updates: Early bird registration is now open til only October 5. This year’s programme is shaping up to have a great balance between practitioners and scholars. Headlining this year’s conference is our illustrious list of keynote speakers, which includes:
Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macau Government Tourist Office, who has been at the helm of Macao’s exceptional transformation into a global destination brand,
- Brett Free, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Government’s Information Services Department, the office responsible for Brand Hong Kong and the highly acclaimed Hong Kong Asia’s World City multiyear campaign,
Andrea Inch, Senior Lecturer at the Dept. of Marketing, University of Otago, and among the notable and rising thinker-scholars of place branding. - Grant Bowie, CEO and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings. With their latest property having just opened this year, the MGM Cotai, the MGM is a treasure-trove of experience and knowledge in placemaking and destination branding.
