Happy New Year!

And thank you for a breakthrough year.

After braving the ‚Äúpolar vortex‚ÄĚ last week with it‚Äôs sub-zero temps, we have hit the ground running in 2014. The cold weather afforded us some time to reflect on the past year, and it‚Äôs been outstanding! ¬†It‚Äôs hard to believe that 2014 marks ten years in business for Vision House Studio. We have had the great blessing of finding many new long term partners over the years and we‚Äôve collaborated on some exciting work together (see the case study below for a recent example.) ¬†We are grateful to God for all of our partners, both new and old, and look forward to working together with all of you for another ten years. Thanks for a great 2013!

The Web Video Is Key blog series has tons of information to help you get started in video marketing.  And if you've already started producing videos, you'll find great tips on how to optimize and fully leverage your investment.

Quest Diagnostics CASE STUDY

CASE STUDY: ChartMaxx Kinetic Typography Video

Read Post

Quest Diagnostics has been a great new partner over the past year and we've worked on a number of projects for them already.  Everything from a software tutorial to client interviews to 3D animation and motion graphics promoting their booth at the massive HIMSS conference in New Orleans. I wanted to highlight one of those projects and emphasize the collaborative partnership we've enjoyed.  Marketing Director Karla Sartori had an idea to create something a little different for their annual CIO forum. They needed something with energy and impact but still compatible with the corporate brand.  She saw an old Kinetic Typography piece on our website and thought it might be a fun, informative and attention grabbing way to connect with the CIOs.  From a slightly irreverent and humorous perspective, they wanted to ascribe super hero status to CIOs that leverage the ChartMaxx software.  It was a brilliant idea…  and we worked together to make something pretty cool.

“The CIOs and our Executives really enjoyed and embraced the IH Video and the Kinetic video is a smash hit with our team...

We look forward to working with you on more video in the future. It has been a pleasure and delight to work with you on these projects.‚Ä̬†

-Karla Sartori, ChartMaxx Marketing Director

More Samples of Kinetic Typography

We love to do kinetic typography pieces (check out this case study of a recent one) so I thought I would curate a few of my favorites and put them in one place for your enjoyment. A couple of ours are in the list as well.  Let your imagination wander a little and consider how you might be able to use something like this yourself.  These videos are a unique approach to telling your story and they are adaptable to virtually any subject matter.  They are fast moving, retain interest, creative and engaging. Hope you enjoy!

Are your video viewers and web site visitors bored?

Does Your Site Really Engage Visitors?

Read Post

Does the content of your website grab viewers’ attention and make them excited about you? Does it whet their appetite with colors, textures and an anticipation for more? Does it make them want to come back or make them want to tell their friends about you?  Consider a sign along the highway… did you know that the average billboard has 5 seconds to grab the attention of a driver whizzing by, clearly convey the intended message and successfully embed itself into the viewer’s memory so they’ll act upon it? Well, the "information highway" isn't that much different, and the competition for mind share is extreme…

Sample Work: RAAP Informational Video for pureHOPE

Watch Video

We produced this piece about five years ago for a great friend at an organization called pureHOPE. It‚Äôs an important message and I thought it would be a good piece to highlight. Working to encourage people to live lives of purity and engaging the culture about the dangerous intersect between sex trafficking and pornography, pureHOPE is helping people to understand the relationships between ‚Äúconsumer‚ÄĚ porn, prostitution and trafficking. ¬† From their mission statement: "Our vision is a world free of sexual exploitation and brokenness, and we work toward that through our mission of providing Christian solutions in a sexualized culture. In short, we equip individuals, families, and churches to pursue sexual purity and oppose sexual exploitation.‚ÄĚ we were proud to work with religous leaders all over the country to produce this informative piece.¬†
