Dear District 6 Families and Community,

  Thank you for an incredible school year as your School Board Member! After visiting every single one of our 165 District 6 schools, I am inspired by our principals, teachers, staff, parents and students who work hard every day to make our schools great places to learn.  I have learned so much from you and am proud to represent every single one of you.

    In just one year, we’ve made significant strides towards achieving the priorities that inspired me to become your Board Member. Together we have made progress to expand college and career readiness, improve school climate, empower our school leaders, and meaningfully engage parents. We also had the opportunity to hear directly from you via our Teacher Listening Sessions, Superintendent Search Input meetings, Coffee with the Board Member and at our fun Picnic in the Park. Some highlights are below.

    My commitment to you is to continue advocating for equity and opportunity for all kids in Board District 6 and beyond.  My team will be working hard this summer to build upon our progress this year and continue our strong partnership during the upcoming school year.
