Swiss Inter- and Transdisciplinarity Day 2018 – Deadline extension

The Swiss Inter- and Transdisciplinarity Day 2018, which will take place on 15 November 2018 at the EPFL in Lausanne, will offer the participants a platform to critically reflect what digitalisation means for inter- and transdisciplinary research, teaching and learning. A call is currently inviting contributions in the form of posters and speed-talks and the submission deadline has been extended until 31 August 2018. U Change: call still open!

Do you have a project idea for more sustainability? The funding program U Change supports innovative student projects and student project incubators for sustainable development. The current call closes on 31 August 2018. All information is available (in german and french) on the program website: > www.u-change.ch.


Sustainable University Day 2019 – Save the date!

The Sustainable University Day is the annual meeting of the funding program > U Change, which supports student projects and student project incubators for sustainable development. Every year, the Conference brings together students, university leaders, policy makers, non-profit actors and other higher education representatives to discuss how universities are responding to the challenges posed by sustainable development and which concrete measures should be taken. The Sustainable University Day 2019 will be organised on 29 March in Wädenswil in collaboration with the > Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). SAVE THE DATE!

New official society for Science of Team Science

The newly formed International Network for the Science of Team Science (INSciTS) will now be the official society of the Science of Team Science community. INSciTS membership draws together researchers, scholars, practitioners, funders, thought leaders, tool developers, policymakers, and institutional leaders from all disciplines and types of organizations. Research generated by INSciTS’ broad and diverse community can enhance the effectiveness of science teams, as well as diverse research collaborations across social sciences, humanities, and professions. Furthermore, INSciTS is focused on preparing the next generation of experts, equipped with the skills and perspectives necessary to lead, train, and participate in team science. > More information (coming soon)
