Dear Parents, Staff, Students, and Community Members:

High School Redistricting

Fall is well under way and we are already into our third month of High School Redistricting.  I want to thank all of those who have been involved and who have had their voices heard, as well as heartily encourage all stakeholders to be sure to chime in.  This process is designed to ensure that everyone has a chance to participate prior to decisions being made.  Now is the time to speak up with thoughts, concerns and suggestions for the redistricting team and, ultimately, the Board of Trustees of Billings Public Schools.

You can participate in the process in a number of ways including online at our website (www.billingsschools.org) or in person during one of the High School Redistricting meetings.  Every area of the District is impacted by the decisions being made, and only by voicing your thoughts can the team make the best decision for all BPS students.  The process ends with the final recommendation(s) to the Board of Directors in March of 2016.

Ben Steele Middle School Open House

We hope you can join us for an open house and community information meeting to present proposed building and site plans for Ben Steele Middle School.  This is a great opportunity to see preliminary plans and to give your input on the plans.  I’ve attached an invitation with more details.

The open house will be held Tuesday, November 10 at 6:00 pm in the library at Will James Middle School.   I hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

Terry Nelsen Bouck
