A growing number of voices within and outside the educational establishment are calling for an enhanced emphasis on “21st century skills.” This call for a focus on 21st century learning raises important and practical questions for educators.

In the course of this workshop participants will learn how to:
Unpack 21st Century Skills into observable indicators
Craft a curriculum blueprint to integrate 21st century skills and Academic Standards
Generate Long-Term Transfer Goals, Overarching Understandings and Essential Questions
Design authentic performance tasks
Develop a set of school-wide Learning Principles
