Spot the Difference!
 The General Election is virtually upon us and unless you have a long-standing preference for a particular political party then arguably finding clear and worthwhile differences between the main parties has never been more difficult than it is in 2015.
Faces, promises and policies all seem suspiciously similar and everyone is proposing changes which our future economic situation may prevent from becoming a reality.
For better or for worse, the future of the United Kingdom is now inexorably influenced by global events and the manner in which we are governed is more often determined by events taking place beyond our island nation.
However, we believe it is important that we all make the effort to vote, thus ensuring that our wonderful democracy continues to thrive …for all our benefit.

New Pension Freedoms
 You might recall that, when announcing the sweeping changes to how we can now use our pensions, Steve Webb (the minister responsible) quipped that some people might rush out and spend their money on a new Lamborghini.
Somewhat wisely, none of Argyle’s clients have yet drawdown funds to purchase a supercar, although that could have something to do with how very difficult they are to get in and out of !!!
