New Beginnings . . .
Residuum Church (North Charleston) had their first “public” service on September 20 with a total of 72 present, including 36 children. (Pictured above at top.) Pastor Blaze Johnson and Alison have targeted the North Charleston area and are meeting in the Ladson Elementary School. They had 4 baptisms at a special event the same evening. Continue to pray for them as they reach out to the community.
The former Walhalla Wesleyan Church had their ReStart this past Sunday. Pastor Eric Thompson and Valerie are providing leadership for this “new" congregation, Hope Church. (Pictured above lower) 80 persons were present for this new beginning. (The average attendance for this church last year was 14.) Thank you for praying for them, and we deeply appreciate the volunteers from other churches in the area that are lending their support.
Pastor Buddy and Joan were in North Charleston and plan to be at Hope Church this Sunday and Asst. DS, Tony Casey, represented the district at Walhalla.
