MSL Ceramic Refurbishment
 
A contractor for Unique Polymer Systems LTD, appointed by Protective Supplies & Services LTD has recently completed a new application with the Ceramic Range. UPS 200 EG Ceramic Repair Paste & UPS 205 FG Fluid Grade Ceramic were used to repair items sent to MSL. 

Once the items had been cleaned and the surface preparation was carried out (Abrasive Blasted to Swedish Standard Sa2.5, 75 Microns surface profile), the UPS 200 EG Ceramic Repair Paste was used to build up areas where corrosion / pitting had destroyed the steel surface.

Once the UPS 200 EG Ceramic Repair Paste reached its over-coating window, two layers of UPS 205 FG Fluid Grade Ceramic (250 microns per layer) were coated to provide the level of protection required.

The items are already back in service with outstanding results!
