Dear ,

Welcome to our February Newsletter.

Andrew, our Managing Director, is fleeing the ice and snow to visit the California Book Fair being held in Oakland. Although we do not have a stand at the fair a selection of our stock can be seen on Stand 310 courtesy of our friends and colleagues Rick Gekoski and Peter Grogan. If you fancy catching up with Andrew please email him on amcg@sotherans.co.uk

We have just put together a short list of antiquarian books from the collection of a client. Please click here to see the list.

We were pleased to host the launch of a new edition of Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang issued by the Queen Anne Press to mark 50 years of its original publication. For more details click here.  In addition to the books we can offer three large limited edition (1/15) prints signed by the illustrator John Burningham.

Thinking ahead we will be launching our Chairman, William Waldegrave's new book A Different Kind of Weather on March 3rd. Please let Roisin know if you would like to attend.

One area in which we help many clients is in finding gifts for special occasions. If you are stuck for an idea for a present do consider a book or a print. We have supplied gifts for wedding lists, retirements, corporate entertainment, christenings, favourite teachers and of course birthdays; we particularly enjoy finding a book printed in the year of the recipient's birth. Do contact us if you have any gift enquiries.
