The Tesla Model S is one of the most-selling electric vehicles worldwide. The suspension manufacturer KW automotive has developed the adaptive KW DDC ECU coilover suspension kit for all Tesla S models (type 002) with four-wheel drive. The coilover kit with its electronic damper control and optional App control is also available with a hydraulic lift system. With the KW HLS, the electrified high-class sedan is lifted on both axles by up to 45 millimeter, for example to overcome speed bumps or steep ramps. Via the free KW DDC App (compatible with iOS and Android), in addition to the three KW driving modes "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport +", further damper modes can intuitively be set and stored in the App. In addition, the adaptive coilover allows a lowering of 5 - 30 millimeters. The KW DDC ECU coilover kit for the Tesla Model S can optionally be extended with a WLAN box. This makes it possible to adjust the dampers of the stainless steel KW coilover suspension in real time via smartphone App (compatible with iOS and Android) in their damper characteristics individually on the load conditions, driving preferences or on the mounted alloy wheels.
