Brexit continues to dominate and is proving more divisive than ever, within communities large and small. The lack of clarity from our own politicians and those in Brussels is astonishing, given that the Brexit vote was over two and a half years ago. One wonders now, what deal (if any) will be struck at the eleventh hour and fifty-ninth minute!
There was an interesting article in the FT Money section last Saturday, penned by Meryn Somerset-Webb, in which she explained her own thoughts on Brexit and why our politicians generally behave like rabbits caught in car headlights. She believes they have lost the 'art of decision-making' and succumbed to the imposition of ever-growing rules and regulations... which ultimately derive from the structure of the EU, as well as wide-spread globalisation.
