Publications addressing transdisciplinarity are steadily increasing
Number of publications per year that include "transdisciplinar*" in the topic (search performed through Web of Science on 12 June 2018)
Every year, td-net observes the publication activities in the field
of inter- and transdisciplinarity. With "transdisciplinar*" and
"interdisciplinar*" as search words, we perform a topic search (within:
title, abstract, author keywords, Keywords Plus®) in the Web of Science
database and present the numbers of publications chronologically in charts. In the recent years, the number of publications show an upward
trend. Have a look at our > publication radar to see the second chart, displaying the results for „interdisciplinarity“.

projects worldwide. The network developed a survey to gather insights
from both researchers and practitioners with collaborative experience
across all systems (not just mountains). We invite you to take part in
this interesting initiative! The survey is available in four languages
(English, Spanish, Chinese and French) and takes about 20 minutes to
complete. > Take the survey

Transdisciplinary collaboration is therefore at the core of Horizon Europe. > More information
I2S News The May/June i2S News is now available > here. It presents resources for
understanding the ‘why? who? when? and how?’ of stakeholder engagement,
as well as ‘wicked’ problems. It also provides information on the
Intereach network, which aims to “articulate and promote the need for a
dedicated career path around interdisciplinary research expertise” and
on the Society for Judgment and Decision Making and its related journal.
These have all recently been added as resources to the > Integration and Implementation Sciences website.
