We have three responses to date and would like to hear your thoughts.

Congratulations to the All Blacks
2015 World Champions
What a great result and tremendous team effort. Our greatest World Cup win serves as a reminder to us of the values and virtues that made this country what it is.
Hard work, focus, endeavour, teamwork, passion, determination, planning, imagination and flair, utilising everyone’s talents to their maximum potential,  trusting your team and your systems, and of course humility. Being a good winner and a good loser are important - Ritchie and Stephen Moore both demonstrated that. A game and a legacy for the ages.
On Wednesday there may be a Victory Parade on Queen Street.
You are welcome to support our National Team by attending with your child.

Pet Day descriptions
Room 2 have been learning how to write descriptions for their pets that they will be bringing along to our school Pet Day on Friday, 6th November.
Before we began writing our descriptions we looked closely at an example and discussed the different parts of it.  We then drew our plans and labeled our pictures.  Group one drew their pictures, but had more detailed expectations.  We have worked hard on our writing over the last two days and are very proud of what we have achieved.  Mrs Daly is really proud of us and couldn't wait to share our writing with you, so has decided to type a few in for you to enjoy.
LAMB
My lamb likes me.  She is Julie and she loves me.
She eats grass.
Julie has wool that's brown and she has four legs and a short tail.
By Angel.
MY PET
My lion is a stuffed toy, it's name is Bobby-Junior.  He has friends.
My lion has black eyes and whiskers on his black nose.  He has a fluffy tail, light brown fur and little 'c' shaped ears.
When I am nervous at night he sings to me.  I hug him in the night and day.
I love him and he loves me.

MY PET
My pet is a duck, his name is Bob.
It has white feathers and an orange beak.
He is a home duck.  He quacks all the time when he's hungry, it's annoying.

Newsletter Feedback
It has been noted that all parents and all our year 4 and older students have access to email. This is great as we move more into the 21st Century. We have increased our online audience through Facebook with 201 followers. More that the number of families at our school.
One great feature of our new newsletter programme is it provides us with  an opportunity to track who is accessing and reading our newsletter.
Tracking this information is difficult to impossible with paper copies. Providing access to the newsletter this way provides more timely information, access to video links into our classroom teaching and learning programmes and events. The example of our data above shows who, what and when parents are accessing our newsletter.  Below shows a comparison across all newsletters or selected newsletters
