Your Argyle Financial Bulletin for September 2016
Dear Client,
Encouraging signs
Over the past few weeks it has been a delight talking with so many clients about their plans to spend some of the welcome profits which your portfolios have enjoyed post-Brexit. Of course, we are still at the beginning of the Brexit process and much has still to be determined, but overall we remain optimistic about the UK coming out of Europe and there are many encouraging signs that, economically at least, all will be well. As summer blends into autumn, we would like to ask for your assistance in helping us to deal with an important event in our lives... one that will involve us in juggling some of our 'housekeeping' duties, both domestic and financial. 'Housekeeping' dutiesJean is having surgery on 22nd September for a replacement knee and although she will be home after a few days, she will clearly need time to recuperate and this recovery process will be her priority. It would be most helpful if you would use the same contact process as usual, but please address any queries to Phil who will make sure you continue to get the appropriate response to any questions you might have... even if the answer still has to come indirectly from Jean! We trust that we will all continue enjoying a the positive response to Brexit, but as the forthcoming US Presidential Election looms nearer, we also anticipate some market volatility. Finally, please consider using SKYPE or FACETIME to contact us if you have not done so already... it really can be fun talking 'face to face'.
