2019 Theme:  'The Smart Future - People, Technology and Business’.

In manufacturing, supply chain and service businesses, new and existing smart technologies are both a threat and a strategic opportunity. This change is accelerating exponentially. Are you READY?

In a competitive global market it is critical that your people leverage new technologies, together with lean thinking, to survive and grow. Businesses that can change ahead of the coming disruptions will avoid irrelevance.

Join us in Melbourne for insights from leading Australian examples and future possibilities. Expert speakers from business, industry and research will share their practical experience and predictions during this full day of interactive networking - all details including speakers and location to be announced shortly.

Our 2019 Summit will examine:

  • What are the best practice examples of technological innovation right now?
  • How does new technology threaten or enhance our business and our work?
  • How much automation of data and machines works best?
  • What are the impacts of new IT innovations on our people, and future skills requirements?
  • How will office automation change our work?
  • What are the practical advantages behind the new technology buzzwords?
  • How do we avoid the pitfalls and gain the benefits?

Recent Event Highlights

27 June 2018 - Operational Readiness for Major Change & Lean 1 Year On - Coca-Cola Amatil WA

”The process of managing the building projects from start to finish was flawless. The amount of effort that went in to identify and winning support from their informal leaders was also fantastic. It was humbling for me to see their self-reflection toward current growth in their journey, and this self-reflection will be a stepping stone for further growth. The continued engagement of employees toward 5S utilized excellent methods to achieve a positive business outcome. Overall the factory looked clean and employees were courteous and engaged. The presentation was excellent.

I wanted to say thanks to CCA for having us. I look forward to us sharing further ideas with each other”.

Asnus Smith, State Productions Manager - BlueScope Building Components

31 May & 1 June 2018 - Value Stream Mapping Two-Day Workshop - SealedAir VIC

“From my perspective the two day session was really informative. It was great to be able to go through the process of VSM with the SealedAir team as well as all the other participants and see the theory put into practice on one of their production processes. The whole team was willing to share their process and production concerns with us and were very open to improvement suggestions."

Troy Hixon, Group Quality Engineer, CCL Secure

30 May 2018 - Batch to Pulse to Flow - Scientific Gaming NSW

“I found the Scientific Gaming event to be extremely professional and most importantly thought provoking. The input and contribution from those in attendance was also extremely beneficial, with such a diverse range of talent and experience present.

I personally gained a great insight into the challenges faced when implementing a change program of such magnitude. A very rewarding experience."

Craig Menzes, General Manager NSW, Dotmar

24 May 2018 - Team Work, Visual Management and Workplace Organisation - Incitec Pivot Fertilisers QLD

“These work groups are really beneficial as it gives you an indication on how other companies deal with the same cultural challenges we do. We also learn better ways to do things. One of the things we picked was the “manage of change” concept”

Andre Styrdom, Regional Manager, Laminex
