A central part of Melbourne’s Crown Casino
complex, Crown Towers Melbourne is the only hotel in the city rated 5-stars by
Forbes Travel Guide, which describes the entrance as through “heavy glass doors
into the impressive lobby, your eyes are drawn to the grandiose chandelier
illuminating the highly polished black granite floors and marble pillars.”
Overall interior design throughout the hotel is a contemporary take on art deco
where “slick surroundings are accented with pops of color. Come evening, the

Its Yarra River south bank location is in the city’s central business district
and the Crown complex is a destination in itself with luxury gaming facilities,

Across from Fitzroy Gardens, Park Hyatt Melbourne décor

wood furniture. Forbes, which gives the hotel 4-stars, notes its “two-story
lobby is a stunner, with a grand curved staircase and walls of glass, a prime
introduction to this sleek but inviting hotel.”

Overlooking the city skyline, the outdoor tennis court is open for play and for
private tennis lessons. Rooms have subtle art deco furnishings, including madrona-paneled

3. GRAND HYATT MELBOURNE
Grand Hyatt Melbourne has been a popular luxury
hotel choice in the city 30 years, and its Collins Street entrance is tucked
between designer boutiques, trendy bars and popular restaurants. Forbes Travel

Located near Flinders Street Station, Melbourne’s
Arts District easy access to shops, restaurants, and bars, the hotel is located
