Financial planning post-Brexit
Change is inevitable.
Change is constant.
Nowhere is this currently more topical than with Brexit and we are now having to consider a diverse range of predictions regarding what will be the most likely implication of Britain leaving the EU.
After weeks of uncertainty (and prophecies about Britain’s impending demise) it is encouraging to see a more positive attitude emerging amongst our senior political figures... and the fact that certain short-term consequences (such as a weaker pound) are now actually viewed as making a positive contribution towards our strengthening economy.
Of course the way ahead is by no means clear, but now that EU leaders are finally talking to each other there should be progress on trade issues... issues which need solutions that genuinely benefit all concerned.
University financial planning service
Following on from the family celebrations of A Level results… now is the time for expert guidance on how to fund and manage university fees.
University is an exciting experience... but it can also be one of the most financially draining, especially without proper planning. The government has once again increased tuition fees and the danger of them rising further is an unfortunate probability.
Even if you are not an undergraduate in England, the rise in student accommodation costs, the abolition of grants and the increase in interest rates on student loans can all affect you.

Britain’s Olympic success… The ‘feel-good’ factor
The Olympics have once again proven to be a terrific success for British athletes
Perhaps it is too early to tell, but this success and the welcome rise in stock market valuations has begun to produce a feeling of optimism...that maybe we are better than we thought we were... and perhaps that we may even get along okay without being part of the EU.
Portfolio risesPost Brexit you will have seen a welcome increase in the value of your portfolio.
We continue to closely monitor all of your funds, but we do not anticipate making any further changes in the immediate future, although we naturally expect to encounter some inevitable volatility from time to time!
