Ergon Energy is reducing its carbon footprint by adding electric vehicles to its fleet and offering leases for employees wanting an electric car for private use. 

Cairns Customer Delivery Manager Geoff Bowes said Ergon had partnered with Mitsubishi to add eight plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) to their fleet.
