The 26th International Congress of The Transplantation Society (TTS 2016) will be held in Hong Kong from the 18th to the 23rd August 2016. This meeting marks a major milestone for the Society as we will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary. The Society has recognized for some time that from a transplant perspective, this is definitely the Asian century. In demonstrating a TTS commitment to worldwide access to transplantation, we can think of no better place to hold this meeting than in one of the major gateways to Asia.

We have brought together a high profile program committee with the aim of developing a broad program covering a diverse range of topics, from the best cutting edge science to the latest controversies in ethics and public policy. Issues relevant to developing transplant programs and organ donation will be a highlight for many of you.

We are seeking proposals from the membership of The Transplantation Society to assist in the development of a scientific program that will meet the highest quality of education for transplant professionals. These proposals will be considered by the 2016 Scientific Program Committee when building the program.
