2017 is shaping up to be quite a busy year. I’m very excited about the new music that I've been working on over the last 6 months, and especially pumped that all of that music is being released.
The Jeff Daniels project called Simple Truths is an album close to my heart, with songs that will (hopefully) move you. Some personal highlights for me are Takin’ I-94, Hard Right In The Rain, and Behold The Brave. Have a listen to the album at jeffdaniels.com. My band The Verve Pipe is putting out two albums this month as well; a live acoustic recording of our album called Villains (w/The Freshmen, Photograph and more), and also a brand new rock album--the second in three years.
I’ve stepped up the house concert series, now in its 11th year. It’s crazy to think it’s been that long since I first knocked on a door, not knowing who was behind it, or what to expect! Turns out, it’s been a life altering experience, one that I love. Hanging out with old school fans, and making new ones, is what it’s all about. My goal this year is to mirror that second season where I booked 104 shows. It’s looking like a real possibility with this new discount we are running.
Some of you are aware that I’ve spent the last two years writing an autobiography, and I’ll be damned, it’s pretty close to being published. “When I Was Young I Knew Everything” will be available very soon.
