AWARD-WINNING DIRECTOR ANDREW WALTON INVITES YOU TO TO GET INVOLVED WITH 'THIS IS ME'?  A NEW DOCUMENTARY SERIES

Given unprecedented access to the remarkable story of one man who turned his devastating accident into his reason for being, we’re asking what happens when your “normal” changes? You are broken in some way – physically, emotionally, mentally. The person you’ve become is someone you don’t recognize, someone you don’t like, or can’t look at anymore. Can you recover? Will you ever get your normal back?

“This Is Me?” is a 6-part documentary web series (in five to eight-minute episodes) that tells the remarkable story of Matthew Sanford - a paraplegic yoga instructor who’s helping six of his yoga students rediscover the joy, ability, power and confidence in their broken bodies. It reminds us all that even in the direst of situations, we can still be the masters of our destiny.

I'm inviting you to be a part of my team and contribute to this powerful new series. Our web searches and current headlines too often turn up depressing stories and tragic news. Lets tell some other kinds of stories… honest, challenging, raw, but inspiring too.  “This Is Me?” is a fiscally sponsored project of the International Documentary Association (IDA), 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. Contributions in behalf of “This Is Me?” are payable to IDA and are tax deductible as allowed by law. Please click here to go our project page on the IDA web site to make your tax-deductible donation and learn more. Please click here to view a short trailer.

We need your help to make this powerful series a reality!

Thanks!

Andrew Walton
