Have you booked yet for the TVR 70th Big Celebration Weekend on the 11th - 14th August 2017 yet? Its not too late to join your fellow TVR enthusiasts at all or part of this event, but please book soon as accommodation is filling up fast

Come and celebrate all aspects of owning your TVR with us. A full list of all the various events, and options is shown below and in the July copy of Sprint magazine.

We have planned a meet up on Friday evening along Blackpool sea front, where you can meet and greet fellow TVRs and then wander along the prom for fish ‘n’ chips at your leisure.

Saturday morning we wave goodbye to Blackpool and the 3 historic sites of the birth of TVR and head through Lancashire, Cheshire and Shropshire, stopping at the famous RAF Museum at Cosford, where you can explore the 3 hangars of exhibits yourself or sign up for the guided tour, which lasts approx 2.5 hours and is full of interesting facts and information.

From RAF Cosford we then head to the recommended hotels - Park Inn Telford by Radisson and the Ramada Telford Ironbridge, where you can freshen up ready for Saturday night’s entertainment, which is within walking distance of both hotels, at the Four Corners World Buffet. It is an all you can eat buffet, with offerings from the culinary worlds of India, China, Mexico and Italy; there should be something for everyone.

Sunday morning sees us heading off again further into the beautiful Welsh countryside for another social drive, past the site of the new factory, and ending up at the TVR sponsored Ebbw Vale Rugby Club for refreshments and lunch. We have arranged a buffet lunch in the Club House, to enable you to recharge your batteries ready for the 2nd part of the social drive to the

Vale Resort.

On Sunday night we will be dining in the grandeur of Hensol Castle, which is in the grounds of the Vale Resort and another short walk from the hotel - don’t worry if the weather forecast is looking inclement as shuttle coaches will be provided. Following a sumptuous 3 course dinner, we hopefully

can get everyone up and dancing, or if that’s not possible tapping your feet along to the sounds of the

Taxplayers, who rocked us at Shuttleworth for the 50th celebrations. At this point in the weekend it’s time to put on the bling, so the dress code for Sunday night is smart, with black tie optional.

After a night of boogying we have several options for you on Monday - after partaking of a hearty breakfast, you make your own way over to the Llandow Motorsport Circuit and participate in a track

experience. We have split the day into morning and afternoon sessions and you are able to book both

sessions if you want. At Llandow we are also offering novice sessions, so if you have never been on a track and would like to have a go but have been put off in the past, please do let us know. Llandow can also provide helmets for a nominal fee if you do not have one already.

We will also hope to have a few surprises in store for you, but we can’t reveal these until nearer the day. All participants for this part of the weekend must attend a safety briefing, have their own track day insurance cover, a full UK driving licence, be physically fit and sign a full indemnity form for the circuit and car club. If, however you have had enough driving (highly unlikely, but a remote possibility), you could remain at the Vale Resort for the rest of the day.

You can take in a round of golf on either of their award winning National or Lakes courses for a mere £35 or £25 respectively, they also offer club hire at additional £30, or you can unwind and relax in the indoor heated swimming pool, with mood lit steam room, traditional wooden sauna and whirlpool spa

bath, or have a treatment in the spa. The golf and any spa treatments have to be booked direct with the Vale Resort. (Check out is at 11am on Sunday, but you can remain on site and use the facilities into the afternoon).

If you are staying on Monday evening as well after the exertions of the day, it is free time and you can venture out for dinner or stay in the hotel.

As you can see, we have been working hard to bring you a weekend packed with activities for everyone; it’s taken a lot of work and hopefully we will have achieved our goal.

We recommend that you book your places now, especially as the hotels are filing up fast.

The latest date to secure your place for this memorable weekend is Friday 21st July 2017; we cannot guarantee we will have places left for any bookings received after this date.
