We're thrilled to announce that the Sixth International Conference on Destination Branding and Marketing (DBM-VI) will take place 5 to 7 December 2018 in Macao, where it all began, and will again be hosted by the Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT). This year is special, however, because DBM-VI takes place as part of the Third Conference of the International Place Branding Association (IPBA), a newly established global association of place, destination, and tourism branding practitioners, scholars, and researchers, which the DBM community supports.
So this year’s DBM-VI and IPBA conference promises greater excitement and synergy by bringing together a more global and diverse group of attendees from a wider variety of professional and cultural backgrounds who have one common goal—to share and advance our knowledge of and experiences in the exciting field of place and destination branding.
