FRT - Fondation René Touraine (FRT) awards every year 5 fellowships to hospital-based clinical dermatologists and pre or post doctoral research fellows for international exchanges between laboratories, one of which must be European. FRT grants each year a long-exchange fellowship of 18 000€ and up to 4 short-exchange fellowships of 4 500€.

The Fondation René Touraine (FRT) is an international non-profit organisation, founded in 1991, with the main goal of supporting therapeutic progress in the field of dermatology at the international level.

FRT is involved in two different sets of actions :
  • Actions for continuing medical education : an annual international top-level symposium on a skin cell, research fellowships, prestige lectures at the major European congresses in dermatology and a reference book on therapeutics in dermatology available online.
  • Actions for clinical and therapeutic research : collaborative networks for rare genetic skin diseases and chronic inflammatory skin diseases (psoriasis) focusing on the patient needs.
